Q1: Give a general experience with Miss Africa sponsored AboCoders training and how your digital skills were enhanced

Khadijat: My digital skills have been greatly enhanced thanks to the Miss.Africa Sponsored, AboCoders Training. I now know how to type and use search engines such as Google, Bing and so on.

At home and in school, I used to see computer with my dad but I only used to play games on it. But now, I know I can do a lot more on a computer such as writing html codes using notepad. I can also study on my own.

Q2: How did the Miss Africa sponsored AboCoders training enhance your perceptions of the involvement of women in technology  

Khadijat: Before, I used to see computers with a few female teachers in my schools but I didn’t know that women were so involved in technology but now I see lots of women engaged in technology and it makes me feel good.

Q3: Give us a professional instance during your training that remains a landmark in your career profession

Khadijat: Miss Miriam, who came from WAAW Foundation, taught us about the creation of solar panels that made an impact tand has remained a landmark for me. I plan to learn more about solar panels and as well be able to build solar panels to help aid the provision of electricity in Nigeria.

Q4: Outline your take on the future of women technology in Africa

Khadijat: In the next five years, I see a lot of women in technology in Africa and making life easier for people. They can trade using the Internet and reduce stress.I will love to design a website where housewives in Minna can buy all they need from the Internet without having to move physically.
